Social media management – who has the time? Not you, probably. Many people don’t realise just how long it can take to create a few posts and schedule them to go out on your social channels. On top of that, there’s constant news within your industry that you want to share, new hashtags cropping up that are trending, and ongoing changes to social platforms’ algorithms.
It’s a lot to stay on top of, especially when you either have no interest or knowledge in the subject. Nevertheless, it’s required. You should keep your social media channels up-to-date, frequently posting and sharing news about your business or industry. You should demonstrate knowledge and that you’re still alive.
If your followers don’t see content, they forget about you. The longer you leave gaps between posts, the less the algorithms favour you. But don’t over-do it, otherwise you’re flagged as spam. Ugh, too much management. Groof, take over.
